We recommend supporting the following organizations who are serving the needs of our community:

  1. Twin Cities Recovery Project - Assistance and support to those suffering from substance use disorder in their transition toward lifestyles of health and productivity by offering a drug free environment as well as resources to develop the whole person.

  2. Minnesota Freedom Fund - Pays criminal bail and immigration bond for those who cannot afford to as we seek to end discriminatory, coercive, and oppressive jailing.

  3. Black Visions Collective - Centers work in healing and transformative justice principles, intentionally develop our organizations core “DNA” to ensure sustainability, and develop Minnesota’s emerging Black leadership to lead powerful campaigns.

  4. Reclaim the Block - Organizes Minneapolis community and city council members to move money from the police department into other areas of the city’s budget that truly promote community health and safety.

  5. Food Shelves in the Area
    Divine Natural Ancestry - grow food on urban land in several neighborhoods across the Twin Cities. Practicing natural and Indigenous connections to earth, we hope to generate high yields of delicious, nutritious foods, and medicines.

  6. Pillsbury United Communities - co-creates enduring change toward a just society. Built with and for historically marginalized and under invested groups across our community, our united system of programs, neighborhood centers, and social enterprises connects more than 55,000 individuals and their families each year.

  7. Centro de Trabajadores Unidos en la Lucha - CTUL organizes low-wage workers from across the Twin Cities to develop leadership and educate one another to build power and lead the struggle for fair wages, better working conditions, basic respect, and a voice in our workplaces.
